Urgently needed
Many records in the United States on early ancestors are lost. Those ancestors left descendants who may never be able to overcome this roadblock. Those descendants may have a chance through participation in the DNA project to bridge the gap, but not without help.
There are a few well established, documented Stanley lineages, and we urgently need participants from these lineages. You may not gain any ancestors through your participation, depending on how far back you can go, but you sure will find many more cousins while at the same time you help descendants whose ancestor's records were burnt in wartime, or thrown away by a zealous county clerk.
